Join

At the close of each worship service an invitation is given to those in attendance. It is designed to allow those who wish to make a public decision the opportunity to do so. Our staff will be on hand to council with you concerning that decision. The following are ways in which you may join:

Baptism

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, and desire to follow Him in

baptism as a public profession of your faith you may wish to present yourself as

a candidate for baptism and church membership.

Letter

If you come by letter from another Baptist Church, FBC will be glad to request

the letter of membership from your former Church.

Statement

If you have come from another Baptist Church that is unable to provide a letter

of membership, we will accept you based upon your statement of faith.

How to Join FBC Coushatta

New Member's Class

Everyone desiring to become a member of First Baptist Church is required to attend a new member class. You will receive a brief overview of the church Covenant, the church Constitution, and the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. You will also take a spiritual gifts inventory to learn where you can be used and what ministries fit you best.

This one-time class for adults meets the last Sunday of every month from 4:00PM-5:30PM. Refreshments are provided for the participants.
